You've now all had the experience of adding to and/or creating your own wiki site. What did you like/dislike about the experience? Could you see yourself using a wiki again? For what purpose?
Please feel free to comment on what your classmates have written as well. There is also a follow-up question to the blog about Web 2.0 that I would like you to respond to.

my only issue with the wiki's are that it's almost to simple. i'm guessing there are more complex wiki engines out there but the one i've used is very limited. i wouldn't really use this because i dont tend to do alot with other people other than my family. Even if i was i would probably keep it to a exel sheet...just put down what it is and what im bringing and email it around.
ReplyDeleteI realy love the wikis. I mostly love the fact that i can put data ther and then get it later from a defrent computer iny where in the world. I could find my self also using it for like a trip. Say i go to germany with family i could put stouf ther ceap a skedual ther so we could see how wher all doing and yet use iny computer. I think of it more as a storag place in a building but with a glass door sents every one can see it just not tuch it.
ReplyDeleteI find the wikis to be spectacular.
ReplyDeleteI think that they're a good idea because if someone did not want to actually have to pay to make a website they could use this.
The things that I like about wiki are that you can create any kind of site you like with in reason, and in a short period of time. The only thing that I do not like is the fact that you can not have certian thigs come in handy, such as control of advrtisements, commericials, sometimes even uploading certian photos. But to conclude, it's a great idea.
